About Signalytic

SIGNALYTIC works to transform African health economies. SIGNALYTIC was born from its founders' lived experience in Subsaharan Africa, where they witnessed the loss of life and human capital due to shortages of drugs and quality care in rural and remote health facilities. Since 2018 SIGNALYTIC has worked to develop a novel technology stack which bridges the digital infrastructure gap, allowing health providers to provide better care to their patients by decreasing drug shortages and reliably accessing the digital tools they need. As a social enterprise we strive for lasting change with technology that can be locally supported and maintained. Actionable electronic health data supports health care providers in the delivery of quality care, reduces cost and saves lives.

Today health providers in 25 health facilities are using the SIGNALYTIC Platform to stream digital health data in their remote health facilities in northwest Uganda, allowing them to make better data-driven decisions. The SIGNALYTIC Platform is headed for national expansion in Uganda's 6000+ health facilities and beyond. Partners include Ministries of Health, United Nations Agencies, Medicines Distributors, and we are in active discussions to deploy the SIGNALYTIC Platform in countries outside Uganda.

Our Product

We create sustainable hardware and software to provide a modern distributed platform for electronic health management. Our product is a network of solar-powered edge servers that provide local connectivity. Software layers provide data storage and security, efficient communication between servers, and Internet access to data. Users interact primarily through Android applications, and the server network is managed through a web-based console.

Sustainability, quality and user experience are core to our design work. Within the team we aim to give each member the means to express themselves, and do their best possible work. Your work needs to fit with you and be something you can look forward to. We look for open-minded critical thinkers that enjoy engaging with others to create.
